This blog follows my attempts to live frugally, naturally, and sustainably, with the maximum allotment possible of health, tasty food, creativity, and puppydogs.
At the time of the great reintroduction of this blog (late April, 2012), I’m 32 years old, living in a cute little apartment in Kitchener, Ontario, with my best friend in the world: Ginger, the lunk-headed chocolate lab with a heart of gold and a stomach of iron. Sometimes I pretend to be a writer, but really my life is dedicated to making my Gingery girl the happiest ball of stupidity and love that ever barked at every single footstep outside my flat.
I’ve another blog on the joys and annoyances of eating like a pauper, and the solutions I’m finding to keep myself healthy and happy, and to continue to enjoy food as the pleasure it surely is. Please feel free to check out Maddy’s Big Blog of Poverty Cooking and leave any comments, feedback, or simply swipe a cheap, healthy recipe from my growing collection.

Hiya Mrs Hogg,
Greetings from western Oz!
I’m sending you this link as it is written by a wonderful woman who has a 2yr old and has made her own lotions, potions and diapers etc from Day 1. She gives great instructions as well as writing a brilliant blog pertaining to wasting NOTHING.
